BORDER WALL PROTOTYPES TOUR
ITINERARY
We will drive from San Diego to Tijuana, Mexico to spend some time on the border of the United States and Mexico. The highlight of the tour are the Border Wall Prototypes.
DEPARTURE & RETURN
Tours start from our departure point outside the downtown branch Museum of Contemporary Art San Diego, crossing the U.S.-Mexican border at San Ysidro and then to the Border Wall Prototypes at Nido de las Águilas in Escondido, Tijuana.
When returning we will cross the US-Mexican border at Otay Mesa Port of Entry to see the border wall prototypes from the U.S. side and then return to the Museum of Contemporary Art San Diego for drop off.*

Please be at the meeting point 15 minutes before the tour begins.

Some important things to note about the Border Wall Prototypes tour
Tours only take place on selected dates and only as long as the border wall prototypes are still in place.
A passport is required to enter Mexico. If you are not a U.S. or Canada citizen, a multiple entry visa may also be required to return to the United States from Mexico, depending on your country of origin. You should research specific visa, passport, and travel requirements in advance, if you’re not a citizen of the U.S. or Canada.
If you cancel at least 7 days in advance of the scheduled departure, there is no cancellation fee. If you cancel within 7 days of the scheduled departure, there is a 100 percent cancellation fee.
